FAQ
Questions
Are your close protection officers SIA licensed?
Yes. Close protection in the UK is a licensed activity, and every Opord Group close protection officer holds a valid SIA Close Protection licence.
Do you provide close protection outside London?
Yes. We are London-based and deploy teams across the UK, including Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Bristol and Liverpool, with international travel support on request.
How quickly can you deploy a security team?
Our operations desk runs 24/7. Short-notice requests are assessed straight away and, where the plan allows, teams can be in place the same day.
Can security be low-profile at private events?
Absolutely. Our event teams can operate in black tie, smart casual or plain clothes so guests enjoy the occasion without noticing the security around them.
How do I apply for security jobs with Opord Group?
Use the application form in the Careers section with your SIA licence type and experience. Our recruitment team will contact suitable candidates for interview and vetting.
